If you are not aware of what does genital herpes look like, then this article will help you get an insight into this disease and how it is caused.
What Is Genital Herpes?
Herpes is a virus that actually has no cure. It enters the body through the skin cells and then begin to multiply at an extremely fast pace. This virus eventually causes a lot of irritation, redness and soreness. This reaction is only the initial outbreak as once it subsides, the virus then travels to the spinal cord through the nerve endings where it rests forever. It is from here that the genital herpes condition occurs periodically.

What Does Genital Herpes Look Like?
Here is a brief insight into what does genital herpes look like:

■The herpes virus causes lesions and sores that appear around and inside the vaginal area of women and on the scrotum and the penis of men.
■Both men and women can get abrasions and sores in the urinary tract, on the buttocks, the thighs and the anal opening.
■The symptoms can vary from person to person. People who experience very mild symptoms do not even know that they have been infected by the virus.
■On the other hand, those who have been severely infected would have to face extremely painful conditions.
■For most people the primary infection stage can be extremely severe and is bound to have more distinct symptoms than those of the recurrent attacks. Here the lesions would be accompanied with flu-like symptoms, body ache and even fever. People can also experience difficulty in urination and would have swollen glands in their groin area.
■Women with genital herpes would also notice some abnormal vaginal discharge as well.
■The condition can last from two–ten days to up to four weeks after the person has been infected.
■Initially the infected person would notice peculiar small red bumps that would later develop into blisters. These blisters would soon develop into painful sores and after some time would also dry up on their own.
■They then develop a crust and ultimately heal without even leaving any scars.

The only good part of the disease is that despite being affected with the virus, a person can lead a happy life and even have an active sex life and normal child birth. If you wish to know more about what does genital herpes look like, then log on to the Internet.

This one might be a little embarrassing because we're going to be talking about the areas in your body that almost no one likes to talk about. We'll be talking about your gron, more precisely about jock itch, which is a very annoying infection of the groin.

This condition, although it's not dangerous in any way is extremely annoying because it itches like mad. I am sure you don't want to sit there scratching your privates all the time, do you? But, let's start from the beginning.
<!--
google_ad_client = "pub-8387860023662664";
/* 300x250, created 20/01/11 */
google_ad_slot = "9814086857";

So, what does jock itch look like?
There is pretty much just one thing to say about the looks of jock itch and that one thing is, it's red. If you see a red patch around your groin area or even on the upper part of your thigh, that's jock itch. If that red area itches madly and you can't help but scratch it all the time (which, of course, you shouldn't) than you better get some good treatment ready or it's going to annoy the heck out of you.

Now, as i mentioned above, this condition is not dangerous. It's not going to make you infertile or anything like that, what's more, it'll most likely clear out after a week to two weeks, but, unless you want to keep your hand in your pants all the time, you need to treat it.

Obviously, as embarrassing as it may seem, you need to see a doctor before you start putting anything on your groin, but you can also get some over the counter type of stuff such as Fungoid.

Again, if you think you can survive through the symptoms, then maybe it's a good idea to think about investing the cash into something else, but if not, then an anti fungal ointment will do.

Before I go, I need to tell you one more thing. Although, it's mostly men that have this condition, it's important to know that women, children, older people and pretty much anything with a groin can get it.

Also, if you do decide to go to a doctor, just remember that they've seen it all already. What I am trying to say here is that there is absolutely nothing to be stressed out about. They are doctors so don't feel embarrassed. It's really not a big deal.

An itchy groin is annoying. I know. That's why I wanted to share the tips above as well as tell you what does jock itch look like, so that you know what's happening when suddenly you feel that itch. The bottom line is that it really is not a huge thing, so don't worry about it.
