What does cellulite look like

Ah... that annoying cellulite. I have to say that I think it's literally a nightmare for very many women. As you know, it doesn't hurt anyone to have it, just doesn't look all that hot.

Speaking of that... what does cellulite look like?
Well, it's pretty easy to spot it once you have it. It usually shows on your thighs or your butt and makes you feel really strange in that new, sexy bathing suite you just got.

When you grab the area of your skin where you have cellulite and squeeze it a little, you'll most likely see little dimples on the surface of your skin. That's how you tell you have it.

This condition only happens in women, although, very rarely, guys can get it as well. When they do, it's usually due to some other illness not related to the cellulite at all.

Again, as I mentioned before, a little cellulite is not really a problem. It's just a portion of fat that has gotten to close to the skin, and so, you can actually kind of see it. That fat should be in your body, just a little lower and the fact that it's a bit close to the skin does not create any problems for your health.

Some people claim that cellulite is related to being overweight, but that's not really the case. It's not uncommon for people who are actually even a bit underweight to have cellulite. The fact is that everyone has some fat in their body so everyone can have cellulite.

So, we've talked about what causes it and what it looks like, let's now focus on how to fight it.

1. Diet.

Obviously. Now, if you're underweight and dealing with cellulite, I would really go and see a professional before you start putting less food into yourself. Generally speaking, diet that's low in fats and a good workout program will help greatly.

2. Creams and pastes.

There are several different types of creams available at your local drug store that will help you smoothen your skin up as well as soften it a little which will in effect result in the lack of visible cellulite. The ingredients that those things also have in common will speed up the way your body deals with fat so it won't store that easily in your body.

3. The fun part...

Well... the last method I wanted to mention to you is wrapping. What happens is you get a massage and your body is brushed. Then they wrap you into things soaked with herbal substances or mud. Very relaxing. Very helpful for cellulite.

What Does A Boil Look Like

Although the name might be a little misleading, nothing boils under the skin when you have a boil, but I am sure you already knew that.

A boil is a lump that has been formed on your skin which is filled with pus and bacteria. They tend to be extremely painful, although not very dangerous to your overall health. One boil is not much of a problem as they heal spontaneously, but if you're really unlucky, you'll experience a bunch of them interconnected with each other.

If that's the case you might experience fever and some discharge coming out of them.

OK, so what do they actually look like?
Well, as I mentioned before, boils create lumps that are filled with a pus like looking substance. In some cases you might see a little dot formed by the pus especially when the boil is ready to discharge. They are not very big, usually 2-4 inches in diameter.

They usually occur on your forearms, lips, armpits, buttocks, thighs, nose or face, but those are not the only places where you can find them. They can form pretty much anywhere on your body.
How do you prevent Boils from occurring?

The number one thing you need to know about is keeping yourself clean. Due to the fact that boils are caused by bacteria, showering frequently and making sure you wash your hands throughout the day will tackle the problem in most cases.

If you already have a boil, don't pick on it or squeeze it. Just let it be until it disappears remembering that you should wash the area around the boil gently with water. Generally speaking, keep the area around the boil clean and be sure that there is air coming to it. Again, try not to pay too much attention to it and hopefully you should be able to forget about it entirely. I don't remember about mine when they do happen sometimes.

By no means should you scratch them as this will cause the bacteria inside the boil to spread and will give you more boils in the future. Those little stinkers can itch like crazy, but do all you can to actually ignore it.

When I say stinkers, I am not joking here. Due to the pus inside it, boils can give out a nasty smell which can be quite irritating, but will disappear entirely as soon as the boil is gone.

Taking care of and preventing boils can be tough if you don't know what you're doing. I am sure that if you follow the tips that I have outlined above, you'll not only be able to spot a boil right when it first forms, but you'll also make sure that they never ever come back, which is obviously a good thing!

What Does Shingles Look Like

Shingles is a painful condition. It usually affects older people, but that does not mean, that if you're young, you can't get it. It's just not very common.

The crazy thing about it is that almost half of the world's population suffers from shingles over the age of 80. Pretty popular if you ask me, but how do you actually spot it?

Let's talk about what does shingles look like.
Usually, when you have shingles, you'll see bumps or even blisters that are filled with transparent fluid. Those bumps can form a rash around your torso, your face, your groin, your thighs and even your genitals. The blisters will last for a few weeks and then will rapture on their own causing scabs that will last for a few more days.

When the scabs are created, they'll need to be left alone. Don't scratch them, pick them or do anything to them. After just a few days they'll start coming off and your skin will start to heal. Unfortunately, shingles will most likely leave permanent scars.

Ok, here are some more symptoms that you'll experience when you have shingles.

Pain
This is probably one of the most annoying things you'll have to go through. Some people say that they experience serious pain while others report they only feel mild discomfort. This really depends on a person how much pain you feel.

The problem with this pain is that even after the rash is gone, you might still feel the pain. It may actually last for a few months or even years.

How to treat shingles?
This is a serious condition that can cause blindness, sever pain or discomfort. That's why you need to always consult with the doctor for treatment. You should talk to him even if you just want to try some natural treatment for shingles, but, just to get you started, here are some ideas you can use right away:

Change your diet.
Shingles can be caused by allergies and most allergies are caused by food. That's why, if you know what caused it, then you can change your diet to avoid the symptoms from ever affect you again.

Vinegar made from apple cider.
This vinegar works sometimes if you place it on the affected area. It will ease the swelling, dry out the pimples and speed up the process of healing.

Tea tree oil.
Just like with the vinegar, just apply it to the affected part of your skin. It will help.

Shingles is really a disease you shouldn't fool around with. If you mess up when trying to treat it, you might have to pay for that mistake for the rest of your life. That's why, whatever you do, talk to a doctor.
