What do Cold Soars Look Like

Cold Soars begin with a small red patch in your mouth. A sort of blister develops inside your mouth and then it bursts and leaves a raw patch which starts to heal and a scab forms.

Some possible Symptoms of an oral herpes infection are
- blisters between your lip and surrounding skin
- blisters on the inside of your mouth
- swollen gums
- sore throat
- swollen glands
- bad breath
- flu type symptoms (headache, shivers)
- dehydration

You can sometimes tell when a cold soar is about to emerge if you get a tingling sensation and a red swelling around your lip before. The blister that develops will crack open and develop a scab. The scab usually will fall off around one week later. Cold sores often reappear at the same place time and time again.
